A little bit about video blogging.
Who just did not dream that the work was fun, brought a decent income and made famous, at least in some circles? Video blogging combines all these aspects! All you need is a light, a camera, and…
where to start?
This profession-Yes, it is a profession-is similar in its own way to streaming. The only difference is that you do not communicate with the audience live, but create separate video clips from any material. You can blog about anything.
Do you have a cute little dog that you love very much? Make a video blog about it! Do you travel often? Great, film your adventures. Or maybe you are an athlete? Your sports activities are clearly appreciated by someone. In short, you need to start with an idea. What you want to shoot your videos about, shoot them about. The main thing is that the idea catches you and attracts the audience you expect.
I came up with my idea!
When you have decided on the topic, the next step is to create the appropriate channel on a video hosting service. The most popular services for this purpose at the moment are Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok. With the first two, everything is, in principle, clear. You shoot the material, edit it, upload the video to your channel and distribute your creativity in different ways (whether it’s advertising or with the help of friends). Further, when the subscribers start to come in, you connect monetization to your videos. For promotion, you can buy tiktok fans.
With the latter, things are a little different. In TikTok, you immediately record a short video and then edit it. In other words, it’s easier here.
This may seem like a disadvantage to some, but you can’t record more than one minute of video in TikTok. So if you decide to blog, for example, about knitting, you will either have to make less informative videos, or switch to another service.
It may also be difficult to find the right audience. The majority of TikTok users are children and teenagers.
The pros and cons.
Of course, keeping your video blog is hard work: there may be emotional burnout, stagnation, and rejection by the public. And it is extremely difficult to develop, given that many people want to be video bloggers.
At the same time, if you have a real idea for creativity and you are burning with such work — go for it! When you reach a thousand or even a million subscribers, you will know that you made the right choice, because you will become famous and rich!
